Bike Check
>> Refer to Handbook for checklist

The bike check is not a complimentary bike service, competitors are solely responsible for the maintenance and safety of your bicycling equipment and ensure your bike is in good working order for the event. Any work required to bring your bike up to standard will incur normal costs. It is recommended that you have your bike serviced prior to the event and that you check it after transit.

The bike check provides a basic check at that point in time. Not everything can realistically be picked up or visible at the time of inspection. An inherent risk of cycling is a failure during the ride due to a number of factors including breakage or malfunction and injury to the rider and others is a possibility. Neither the Coast to Coast or any Bike store or staff, are in any way liable for the condition of your bicycle at the event or other point in time.

Kayak Stage Check
>> Refer to Handbook for checklist

Two Day Athletes
Selected kayak gear can be checked at Klondyke Corner on Friday between 1-6pm (check can be completed by support crew, refer to Handbook for checklist).

Other kayak gear must be checked at kayak scrutineering on Saturday morning at Mt White between 4.30-6:45am. This check will be completed by your support crew - make sure they have the right gear!

We encourage you to bring PFDs and helmets for a pre-check to ensure a stress-free Saturday morning. These will still need to be sighted on Saturday morning due to our river concession rules.

One Day Athletes
Your support crew will complete your kayak check on Satruday at Mt White. Please note that Two Day support crew will be leaving Mt White from about 9am onwards. There will be a lane set up for pedestrians to walk down but it is likely there will be a delay at the one lane bridge as there is not enough space for cars and pedestrians. If the athlete is expecting to be slower than 4 hours on the Mountain Run please don’t arrive at Mt White until after 10am,
