The Kathmandu Coast to Coast Academy has been designed to support participation in the event and the sport of multi-sport. The Academy focuses on bringing our partners together to support young people with both advice and equipment to assist in developing knowledge around the sport of multi-sport and assist with achieving the adventure that is the Kathmandu Coast to Coast

Kathmandu is encouraging high schools nationwide to nominate a three-person team for the chance to receive the ultimate package for New Zealand’s leading multi-sport event - the Kathmandu Coast to Coast. 2025 Applications have closed.
Show us your creative side! We're looking for entries that show creativity (video, photos etc.) and if you do post them online make sure to tag us! You will also need to complete the application form (link below).
Applications will be accepted from Teams that are currently entered (entry fee would be refunded), those on the waitlist and those that are not on the waitlist.
Prize is awarded to one 3 person team only
Kathmandu gear to the maximum value of REG$1,000 per team
One Free entry into the NZSSSC sanctioned 2023 Kathmandu Coast to Coast Schools Two Day team event (3 person team). One team member will compete in the run, one the bike and the other the kayak section.
If your team is already entered for 2025 the entry fee will be refunded.
Free camping spot at Kumara Race Course for team members and support crew (5 pax)
Free coaching and mentoring, organised by Ultimate Event Productions for the team
Support for one team member in finding a suitable Grade Two white water Kayak course (if not already certified.)
1 x Barracuda Enigma Kayak for training for and during the event and to keep for the school. Includes Rasdex PFD, and Rasdex Spray Deck
Kathmandu Coast to Coast branded race kit by Champion Systems
Assistance for North Island School with ferry crossing and travel.
